Professional info

 

I have been teaching at the University of Notre Dame since Fall 2012, when I was appointed Associate Professor of Political Science and David A. Potenziani Memorial Chair of Constitutional Studies.  I was promoted to Professor of Political Science in 2018. I have previously taught at Princeton University and Georgetown University, and was a speechwriter and special assistant to the Director of the United States Information Agency from 1995-1997.
